At In Dogs We Trust, we use positive motivational methods so that the dog training is fun yet effective for everyone! We encourage good behaviour by rewarding and reinforcing them with rewards that come from us (toys, treats, or praise) or rewards that come from the environment 'life rewards.' Since we quickly fade out the treat lure, using life rewards to train is highly effective. You won't have to use treats every time but your dog will still be rewarded and happy.

We also teach you how to extinguish and prevent unwanted behaviours that are unintentionally reinforced by life rewards from the environment and how to replace those behaviours with positive ones. Understanding the way dogs think and view those rewards will change your relationship with your best friend!

Dogs are highly social pack animals that need leadership, someone has to be in charge. Through our group lessons or private training, we can teach you how to provide that leadership using a positive approach.

We offer different types of obedience classes to suit your dog training needs - puppy, basic, intermediate, advanced, tricks, Canine Musical Freestyle, Clicker training Seminars and dog bite prevention through Doggone Safe's Be A Tree Program.. We also offer private dog training for those who would like to work on specific commands, behavioural issues, or just prefer the training is done in their own home.
